ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand returns to the 2027 IRONMAN Pro Series

With support from a $250,000 investment from the Government's Major Events Fund, Taupō will once again welcome the world's best triathletes when ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand returns as part of the 2027 Experience Oman IRONMAN Pro Series.

The 43rd edition of this event will take place on Saturday 6 March 2027, marking its second consecutive year as part of the global IRONMAN Pro Series.
The event will attract elite athletes and visitors from around the world and will be broadcast live and free to international audiences across multiple platforms.
As well as providing a significant boost for the local economy, the event will inspire the next generation of Kiwi athletes and showcase Taupō and New Zealand to millions of viewers worldwide.
With the world’s best athletes returning to Taupō in 2027, the event will continue to generate economic benefits, inspire participation in sport, and showcase New Zealand as a premier destination for major events.
