The New Zealand Major Events team is responsible for administering the Major Events Development Fund, a contestable fund aimed at supporting major events that can create lasting benefits for New Zealand.

The Major Events Events Resource Bank has been developed by New Zealand Major Events in partnership with the New Zealand Association of Event Professionals. This Resource Bank makes available best practice information, checklists, templates and examples for owners and organisers of major events.
