Applying for Funding
The application process for the Major Events Development Fund occurs in two stages. Stage One requires the submission of a concept proposal and is open to anyone. Stage Two is by invitation only and requires the submission of a full business plan.
Where possible a stage one application should be submitted at least 12 months before the event takes place. This is to allow for the process, funding agreement and leverage and legacy planning to be completed in time for the event.
Please note that applications for the Autumn 2010 round close on 1 March and the Spring 2010 round will close on 16 August.
