Funding Conditions

While you may apply for whatever level of funding you require, the IAEG may decide to allocate less than what you ask for. A contract is developed for all funding support. The IAEG will attach conditions that you have to meet before you can receive the allocated funds. For example you may be asked to demonstrate the particular benefits that will result, or you may be asked to show that you have secured other funding.
Lead Agency
Should your application for funding be successful, a lead agency or agencies will be allocated to leverage off the event. The lead agency will be selected from the member agencies of the IAEG or the New Zealand Major Events unit.
Branding and Promotion
If your event is supported, you will be required to acknowledge the support of the lead agency and/or New Zealand Major Events, including displaying the unit's fern logo on event material and promoting the sponsorship. The branding and promotion requirements will vary depending on what the event or conference is and the details will be included in the funding contract agreed with you.
