- Conduct research on available events
- Analyse and assess potential events to host
- Form a bid-committee and a create a framework of operation
- Develop a bidding programme

- Monitor progress of CINZ 's Conference Assistance Programme
- Facilitate the attraction of specific conferences aiming at supporting key industries
- Increase support to attract relevant conference and conventions

- Join forces with Australian Events agencies where appropriate
